Policy Update – New Unit 18 Contract:

• The new Unit 18 Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) contract went into effect December 3rd, 2021, and is fully posted to UCnet for reference.
• Both departments and Unit 18 faculty can reach out to academicpersonnel@ucr.edu with any questions regarding this new contract and its implementation.

COVID-19 Vaccination Program Policy
Published technical updates and updated forms include:

• Technical update to Appendix E, section IV to reflect 6 weeks rather than 8 weeks
• Revised forms (in consultation with UC Legal to adapt to the updated Appendices)
• All forms now include language about boosters (and changing terminology around "full vaccination" to "primary series" and "boosters")
• Forms are in compliance with CDPH orders for health care workers
• New questions for Religious Objection Exception request to a booster
• Ability to provide lab result of positive COVID test instead of needing a signed Health Care Practitioner form if applying for an exception due to recent COVID diagnosis
